Google +1 button

Google +1 button is a social networking plugin to let people who like your content recommend your site on Google search. In other words, it is a kind of Facebook like button. This button can be more powerful than Facebook like button because the results would be in accordance with the page rank of your site. More +1 clicks will help increase more chances to get people discover your contents. Like any other social buttons, it has optional settings such as count, sizes, and languages. Add this free button, and figure out what contents of your site are preferred most.

You can get more information about Google Plus one button here: "http://www.google.com/webmasters/+1/button/". Google provides its snippet code automatically generated, however, we can't use it directly into HTML snippet in iWeb. The reason is basically the snippet code should be placed on the top page. HTML snippet is not a top page but just a markup like "widget0_markup.html"... To solve the problem, we created a script for all iWeb users to be able to easily embed the google plus one button via HTML snippet. Hence, you don't need to grab the snippet code from Google website, instead, you can use ours.

Actually, you can grab your custom code from http://www.google.com/webmasters/+1/button/
However here is very important issue. If you are inserting +1 button that does NOT assign a specific URL, you must grab your code from below. This is because the HTML snippet is NOT an actual page. It will cause people to share a different address.
Please recreate your code for iWebsites and paste it into HTML snippet box. (Customize them, and then push "Apply" button. You must resize the HTML snippet size to 450 x 100 or bigger because of its pop-up message.)
Go back to iWeb.
Insert a HTML snippet. Then paste the code into HTML snippet box.
Please click "Apply" button on the HTML snippet box.
Publish your site and try to check if the +1 button works correctly from your web browser.
